The Bowers Road project involved the construction of new two-storey flats in Bromley, London. Responding to the client's environmental concerns, a dormer roof design was implemented using timber construction exclusively, eliminating the use of steelwork to minimise embodied carbon emissions. The roof design was meticulously crafted as a truss frame, analysed through finite element analysis to ensure structural integrity and alignment with the client's specifications. This sustainable and bespoke approach to construction showcases a commitment to both eco-friendliness and client satisfaction.
