The redesign of this detached bungalow residential house encompassed a rear and side extension, coupled with the addition of a large floor within a new roof structure. Given the complex shape of the roof, the structural design necessitated the use of lightweight steel beams to frame the intricate roof layout and hip beams. The incorporation of finite element analysis was instrumental in ensuring the structural integrity of the roof, given its unique and complex configuration.
